Carnaval in Salinas Ecuador

Carnaval in Ecuador is unique.  Ecuadorians have their own quirky way of celebrating this

 famous ritual before lent.

Ecuadorians use the celebration to play with water.  Yes, I said play with water.

The whole place turns into a giant water fight, with people squirting each other with water guns and throwing water balloons.
